Project description: Zibo Gomma S.r.l. has carried out an innovation project for its production process through the purchase and installation of a new plant for the treatment and concentration of water used to cool the rubber compound coming from the vulcanization lines. The project also includes the installation of a photovoltaic system with a peak power of 95 kW, intended for the self-generation of electricity to serve the company’s operations.

The intervention is part of the company’s innovation and sustainability path, with the aim of improving the management of process water and contributing to meeting energy needs through renewable energy, in line with the objectives of the Transition 5.0 Plan.
